The gameplay is decent, sometimes turning around is tricky. the classic scissorman of the first games of the series is lacking in this one, but is replaced with a multitude of newer enemies. Yet unfortunately at the beginning of the third section, it all goes downhill, using mediocre jump scares, as well as a very thin plot that could be straight out of final fantasy, definately not fit for a game of it's genre. The first 2 levels and bosses of this game had this at at LEAST number 3 on my favorite games of all time list, next to silent hill 1 and 2.
